Serenity Resort Koh Chang

Set against the awesome backdrop of the Koh Chang rainforest, Serenity Resort, designed by one of Thailand’s most respected architects, sits on a small, sandy bay on the east coast of Koh Chang and commands stunning views across the water towards the Thai mainland and the Cardamom Mountains.

The resort has spacious new bungalows and large two bedroon villas that sit in a beautiful tropical garden featuring a wide range of plants including wild orchids, palms, shrubs and bamboos, all thoughtfully planted within large grassy areas.

At the water’s edge on the palm-fringed beach is the focal point of the resort in the shape of their large sun deck and cocktail bar serving a full range of alcoholic and soft drinks, snacks, English breakfasts and a wide selection of Thai and Western dishes. In addition there are just seven comfortably furnished rooms with famously comfortable beds as well as some newly completed two room beach houses that are perfect for families and groups of friends. These have great facilities including jacuzzis and rooftop barbeque and loung spaces.

The Bamboo Bar
Sitting at the water’s edge at the heart of this boutique resort is an impressive bar and giant sun deck. It’s the perfect spot to relax and soak up your idyllic surroundings after a hard day’s holidaying!

Settle down in comfortable surroundings and take advantage of Serenity Sundowner time between 4pm and 7pm and enjoy one of their delicious pre-dinner cocktails for just 99 Baht. Piña Colada, Tequila Sunrise, Mojito, Cuba Libra, Gin Sling, Margarita, and Singapore Sling are just some of the favourites on offer.

If you prefer wine, by the glass or bottle, they have chilled Chardonnays, refreshing roses or robust Cabernets from France, Australia and South America on a carefully selected list, plus a choice of Asia’s most popular beers and your favourite soft drinks and shakes.

Dining at Serenity

Serenity Resort have teamed up with one of Koh Chang’s favourite restauranteurs to bring you an authentic Thai menu that has been delighting visitors to the island for years. Ever-popular Souk restaurant owner Ed is a talented chef with an encyclopaedic knowledge of the country’s natural ingredients and a master of the art of subtly blending them to produce flavoursome dishes.

Look out for daily specials and for those of you who occasionally enjoy a taste of home they also offer a small range of Western favourites as well as sandwiches and snacks.

They are open from 7.30am for breakfast, lunch and evening meal, all of which can be served on your balcony or on their beachside deck with its stunning designer seating and plenty of shaded area to enable you to enjoy the al fresco experience in comfort.

Serenity Resort is a great place to stop in for a break during your exploration of Koh Chang’s fascinating east coast. The Resort sits on the edge of a small bay which provides a natural playground for guests and visitors who are welcome to use their watersports equipment whilst enjoying the facilities of their restaurant and bar.

Paddle Boarding
This fast-growing sport is great fun, keeps you fit and enables you to get a new perspective on Koh Chang from the water. Serenity’s paddle boards are free to use so be sure to have a go during your stay. We will even give you basic instructions for staying upright!

Kayaking
A popular pastime the world over, kayaks provide a great way to explore the immediate coastline – as well as a healthy means of counteracting the food and drink you’ll be enjoying during your holiday! The resort has one solo and one two person kayak which guests and visitors to the bar and restaurant, can enjoy free of charge.
